Bondi to Coogee with kids

Shallow pools, calm water, picnic parks, and an audio walk with kids' challenges.

Pools for little ones

The North Bondi Children's Pool is a free rock pool for young kids at the north end of Bondi. It's closed on Thursdays for cleaning. Bondi Icebergs has a small kids' pool beside the big one, with lifeguards on duty during opening hours. Paid entry.

At Coogee, the Ross Jones Memorial Pool next to the surf club is a family favourite. Waves splash over the wall at high tide, which kids tend to love.

Calm water

Clovelly's breakwater makes it one of the calmest swims on this stretch of coast, and kids with goggles can spot fish from the surface.

Picnics and a walk

Bronte has a wide grassy park behind the beach with barbecues and tables, which makes it the easiest lunch stop on the coast.

Our free audio walk from Bondi to Coogee has a kids' mode, with a short challenge for kids at each stop.
